Purchase in Store in Ireland or for Ireland and UK Delivery

We would love you to come to our shop and buy in store. We have a huge range and volume of stock in store on our premises and are open Monday to Saturday 10-5pm.  Our address is 5C John  Street Gorey, Co. Wexford.  Ireland. Y25 T9W9.  There’s ample car parks at the end of John Street.  Bring a chair or a picture of yours. 

Approximate delivery times via DPD:

Ireland & NI 1-3 working days. 

UK 2-5 working days.

Returns & Refunds Policy & Conditions of Sale

We make every effort to accurately describe all colours and materials, although there can be slight variances in colour from what you see on your screen. We use real customer pictures to give you an indication of the colour in a variety of environments.

We do our very best to give accurate advice on what size you’d need, if you choose to send us a picture before ordering. We recommend that you send us a picture with the size of your chairs clearly marked and in CMs per the Measurement Guide and let us know the specific chair covers you are interested in.

We are located in Ireland and there are no customs regulations for delivery within Ireland or to NI.

There is no VAT or import duty for customers to the rest of the UK for orders up to €150

Customers in England, Scotland and Wales may occasionally experience delays in delivery due to customs processes.  In the event that your order is held by customs for inspection, delivery time can be longer, please let us know if you haven’t received your parcel and we will investigate.  We will provide you with tracking information upon request. We can not be held responsible for delays which are outside of our control. 

We do not currently deliver to Isle or Man or Jersey due to prohibitive delivery costs.  Minimum order to the UK is €20 as we subsidise the delivery costs. 

Exchanges and Returns

In the unlikely event that you need to return or exchange your order you must return the items as new and unused in the original packaging and with proof of purchase. It is your responsibility for the cost of return postage.

If you need to exchange the goods please contact us and we will call you to take payment for exchange postage over the phone.

If you wish to return the goods for a refund, we will refund the cost of the goods however we do not refund the cost of postage.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR  CUSTOMERS in England, Scotland and Wales:

 YOU MUST contact us first informing us of your intention to return and post from the post office must be within 14 days of your receipt of order. You must clearly write on the postal document that you are RETURNING GOODS. You must also inform us of your tracking number before the goods arrive back into Ireland.  An Post sometimes charge an administration fee of €3.50 for customs clearance from UK to Ireland and this may be deducted from your refund.

If you purchase using PayPal they may refund the return cost once you have registered for the service. Link for information.

Your Responsibilities

It is your responsibility to check that you have received the quantity of chair covers ordered within 3  days of receipt.  In the unlikely event that there has been an error, please email us at info@chairfx.com or call us on +353 (89) 475 2027.  We’ll investigate quickly and remedy any errors that we have made.  Please note that we check the weight of package we sent to you with our courier company and we have additional checks in place to ensure we send you the correct quantity.

You must not accept a package from the delivery company if it has been damaged, ripped or otherwise.  You must refuse to sign for the package, tell the  delivery person to return it and inform us of the same.  You will not be entitled to any kind of remedial action by us, unless you do so and also inform us that the packaging was damaged and that you didn’t sign for it.  We will investigate and remedy.  This is normal practice for all companies.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you follow the ‘Care’ guidelines.  These form part of the terms and conditions of sale.

A note about cream leather and upholstered chairs: Unless you are covering in a light colour such as light grey, cream, white or polyester chair covers, we recommend that you wrap the chairs in a non flammable material first before applying the chair covers to the chairs as there is a small potential for colour transference from a dark coloured velvet material to light coloured leather or upholstered chairs. Never, ever put wet chair covers on your chairs or sit on the chairs when wet. ChairFX Chair Covers accepts no responsibility for potential colour transference.

In Store Returns Policy

We’d love to see you in our shop in Gorey, Co. Wexford. 

We accept returns and exchanges in store only and within 14 days of purchase with the same conditions as online purchases.
